Buck Hill

Mountain Creek Ranch sits at the foot of Buck Hill, which visitor's marvel at the highest peak in the area and over three times the height of the Eagle's Nest, a popular tourist attraction in town. Buck Hill is listed on the mineral and gem maps and is privileged to claim the honour of being immortalised in a famous painting by one of Canada's very own, A.J. Casson of the historically acclaimed 'Group of Seven' artists whose work is collected and open to the public at the McCloughan Art Gallery. The painting is titled “Buck Hill” and is just one of the many local paintings he created in the time he spent in our area.
