Mountain Ponies

We are the only training and riding facility that specialises in ponies of all sizes and breeds. We have some of the smallest in Ontario, standing at 24 inches to the withers right up to Mountain Horses which are still categorised as a pony build but are the height of a horse, but stockier making them built to carry large adults through the rough mountain terrains. Most of our ponies are Welsh Mountain Ponies of various heights to suit a rider of any size. We often get asked why ponies? Well, ponies are much stronger than horses, of superior intelligence, stamina and bravery. We all recall the PONY EXPRESS, mail service of historical fame; they used ponies rather than horses for these reasons. Ponies also have great endurance which makes them love racing around on our many trails and they are said to have and their superior intelligence make them have an incredible memory and unique individual personalities. Ponies are not just wonderful to ride but they are a friend like no other, creating unbreakable bonds between rider and pony!
